My name is Fatim Tembely Dasse, and I proudly come from Ivory Coast and Mali. When I moved to the United States, I quickly realized that many of us shared the same struggle: missing the flavors of home, but not having the time, energy, or budget to recreate them.
Back then, access to authentic ingredients was limited and often expensive. It didn’t sit right with me. If there was a problem affecting my community, I believed there had to be a solution.
That solution became Foodian’s Place.
I started this business with one clear goal:
to make authentic, flavorful food accessible, affordable, and easy, without spending hours in the kitchen.
As the brand grew, I realized something even deeper — it wasn’t just about food.
